Learning new traffic patterns at new airports in our local area. Todays flight was from Riverside (KRAL) to San Bernardino (KSBD). Today's flight was to learn the traffic pattern at a new airport, manage multiple frequency (radio) changes and attempt unassisted landings; which resulted in the newly formed skill of the "go-around". My first approach for landing at KSBD was too high and too fast, so I decided to go around and line up correctly. No speed up, just enjoy the quick 5 minute pattern at KSBD.
