I'm still genuinely surprised that I woke up this morning, got into my truck, drove to an airport, walked out onto the tarmac, got into a helicopter and got to fly it.  Granted the instructor did all the heavy lifting with hovering, taxi and departure - however shortly after getting in the air, I was handed the controls of a helicopter for the first time in my life.  I knew it the second we took off, I wanted to do this forever.  You simply cannot put into words the majesty of over 100 years of aviation history and what it feels like to live one of the most replicated dreams in the human psyche - flying.

I'm honored and humbled to begin this journey and look forward to sharing my experience with you!!
